In response to a suggestion from David, we have decided to include a ‘Bring Them Home’ stand at the expo that will be featured at Commissioning in December.
We’re going to get some people on to this and offer some thoughtful approaches to ways in which Corps might like to consider the, bringing them home idea.
You will also be interested in, “Back to Church Sunday” that is another helpful idea that will be presented at the expo stand, so look our for them.
Whether it’s Bring Them Home or Back to Church Sunday, we have to start to ask ourselves, if God makes such a difference in a person’s life, then why do they walk away from Him or the worship of Him?
We may not like the answers we get, but the question has to be asked.
I know this has been on my computer for a little while, but has been in my thought also on how best to answer this.
It seem when people are are enrolled and are in full uniform they seem to be forgotten. People still have problems and of course they are made easier once people are relying on the Lord.
Sadly they are missing from the Corp and nobody seems to follow them up, consequently, the road become heavy and a little hard to face life so we do not see them again. I agree bring them home as people cannot live without the Lord’s grace. In my work I have heard this time again when I try and encourge to conntact people in thier Corp they feel as though they are un able to.
I am in favour of “Bringing people home”
